Heat Treatment
Normalizing For 13CrMo44
1.Nominal normalizing temperature:890-940°C
2.Hold the temperature for several hours
3.Cooling in the air

Annealing  For 13CrMo44
1.Nominal Annealing temperature:680-720°C
2.Cool slowly in the furance
3.Maximum Brinell hardness of 180

Hardening and Tempering(QT)  For 13CrMo44
1.Nominal Hardening temperature:910-940°C
2.Hold at this temperature then quench in oil or water
3.Tempering as soon as possible when the temperature low to ambient
4.Heat uniformly to the suitable temperature of 650-720°C
5.keep the material out of the furnace, then cool in the air

Mechanical Property( for reference only)
1.Tensile strength: 650MPa
2.Yield point: 450MPa
3.Percentage reduction of area after fracture: 50%
4.Elongation after fracture: 17%

Soft Annealing
Heat to 680-720oC, cool slowly in furnace.

Hardening

Hot forming temperature: 1100-850oC.

With alloy Chrome and Molybadenum elements, boiler steel plate 13CrMo44 owned the minimum yield strength at 300 Mpa, and tensile strength within 440-590Mpa. When ordering boiler steel plate 13CrMo44, 

Gnee steel’s engineer would suggest the end user to choose ultrasonic examination adopt standard from ASTM A435 A577, A578 or EN 10160. Original mill test certificates would be issued when delivery under steel standard EN 10204. 

For boiler steel plates 13CrMo44, the rolling thickness shall be positive tolerance for guarantee the safety end using in boiler and other pressure vessels, so the actually weight for boiler steel plate 13CrMo44 shall be more heavy than the theoretical weight.
