While fabrication of ASTM A515 Carbon Steel Grade 70 Slatting Coils we adapt various heat treating methodologies like process annealing, full annealing, isothermal annealing, quenching, and normalizing to enhance their strength and toughness.

 

The resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in ASME SA 515 Gr. 70 CS Perforated Coils increases with the content of chromium, molybdenum and nitrogen in the steel.

 

The Carbon Steel A515 Grade 70 Plates material must meet a minimum of 70 ksi tensile strength with 21% minimum elongation, when cold working, CS Grade 70 Plate material may be readily bent or cold formed as is typical of plain carbon steels.
