EN10028 steel grade supersedes the older BS and DIN standards (Grades BS 1501-161-360A and DIN H 1, respectively).

P355GH steel grade is one of grade in En10028-2, which is non alloy and alloy steels with specified elevated temperature properties. P355GH grades are used above all for manufacturing boilers, pressure vessels and pipes transporting hot liquids.

EN 10028 – P295GH

A steel which is ideal for use in elevated working temperatures, grade P295GH is used in the fabrication of industrial pressure vessels and boilers. It is an EN10028 specified grade which governs steels used in pressurized service.

It is a normalized steel and has excellent welding characteristics. It is used worldwide by fabricators serving the oil and gas industry and can be found in heat exchangers, weldable pressure vessels and boilers and pipework.

P235GH is a European specified steel for use in pressure vessels, boilers and heat exchangers.

 

The composition of this steel makes it ideal for applications where elevated working temperatures are the norm and the material is used by fabricators throughout the oil, gas and petrochemical industry.

 

P235GH is a normalized carbon alloy steel and is available ex-stock from our warehouse with mill certification and stamping. This EN10028 steel grade supersedes the older BS and DIN standards (Grades BS 1501-161-360A and DIN H 1, respectively).

EN 10028-2 (2003) 16Mo3 PVQ Steel Plate

16Mo3 Steel is mainly used for boilers and pressure vessels with elevated temperatures according to EN 10028-2 (2003). It is equivalent to 15D3 (AFNOR 36206 ) and UNI5869 16Mo3, 16Mo3 with Molybdenum alloy steel plates which is mainly used for constructing pressure vessels and boilers. The delivery condition of this grade shall be Normalized. 16Mo3 is a chrome molybdenum based steel which has excellent heat resistance and corrosion resistant characteristics.
